Christ Cafe

Tomorrow night, Saturday, 2/23 there will be a coffee house at the church. This includes and open mike for performers. There will be a five dollar entrance fee which includes foods, and drinks. Its sure to be a lot of fun, and we would love to have you!

Back to School Party!!!!

For most of us, today was the first day of school! To make the best of this occasion, we will be having a Back to School party! I can't say too much about it, except that the food is gonna be really good, and there are many other fun things that will be going on there, so come on out and have a good time!

New Features

In order to get information to you more efficiently, we've introduced some new features! Our best feature is the addition of youth group staff. Staff will be sending emails from the new youth group e-mail account (portyouth@gmail.com), updating the blog, and doing some other helpful things around the office. Our first official staff member is Stephen! Please help him out by sending him your e-mail address or adding him as a friend on myspace if you haven't already. The youth group myspace will also be resurrected so please friend it as well. If you'd like to receive info in another way, please let us know. We want everyone to know about all our events!

Also new pictures have been added to the photobucket! Be sure and check them out.

And last but not least, we have lots of exciting events planned for the future. First up is a Back to School Party next Sunday followed by a Ninja Movie Night on Sept. 15th. We're also going to be setting a date for our annual spaghetti dinner very soon. We also have some great fundraisers planned, so this is your warning to start saving ink cartridges and old cellphones. We can get money to have fun with them. They'll also count for another new feature we'll be adding soon. Check back soon for more info, more pictures, and more additions to the calender and possibly some fun features from our staff.

Upcoming Events

Tonight we will be going to Rita's for water ice. Bring a few bucks and meet at the church at 6pm. Also on Friday July 27th we will be meeting at the church at 4pm to head down to Wildwood for the day. Bring money for rides, food, and Fascination! Yes, we will be playing Fascination. Afterwards, everyone will be dropped off at their homes. Everyone should be home by midnight. Don't miss out on every one's favorite summer activity, Flipper's Fascination. Make sure you are at the church by 4pm on Friday! And as always, youth group every Sunday night!

This Sunday, July 8th, we will be having a fun night including some sort of delectable frozen goodness. Games? Did I mention games? Yeah, there will be games. I promise. Also...the unveiling of our summer theme. What? Summer theme? Yes, indeed. You don't want to miss it! Other things on the agenda include activity suggestions, fundraiser ideas, and lots of other important summer planning. Make sure you're there at 7pm so you don't miss a minute!
